Bring a little history to your event. The Wallace name has been associated with Texas and cattle since the 1850's. The Wallace family helped settle the Greenville area; the original homestead still stands just outside of Lone Oak.
Frank Wallace, Bob Wallace's grandfather, was the first man to drive cattle to what would become the state of Arizona in the 1880's. There, he oversaw the Aztec Cattle Co., and later built the historical Hashknife Ranch. Frank then set up his own personal home place, the OW, in northern Arizona.
Frank Wallace was later inducted into the Cowboy Hall of Fame as the Pioneer Cattleman of the State of Arizona.
Bob and Sondra Wallace relocated to the Granbury area in 1994 and have returned the OW Ranch to its Texas roots. They continue the family tradition of quality cattle and good horses. This is truly a family effort. Two of their four daughters, Heidi and Candyce (along with Candyce's husband, Casey Wescott and daughter, Channing) have joined Mom and Dad in welcoming you to our family ranch.
After successful events for friends and family, Bob and Sondra have committed to expand their private party facilities for your enjoyment.
The Pavilion overlooks a tree-lined lake with a variety of wild birds occasionally stopping by for a rest. The French style doors open to encourage festivities to move leisurely to the outside. Luscious lawns and beautiful landscaping finish the relaxed setting.
Surround yourself by the restful views of large oaks, cattle grazing, and an extraordinary view of Comanche Peak
But be careful, with a roping arena within easy walking distance and a long list of chores that never seem to get done, you may just get caught up in your surroundings and put a pair of gloves on!
